So, you've probably come here wondering "What in the heck have I stumbled across?  There's this website with barely any content, a lot of whitespace, and some odd buttons that don't really tell me what's going on."  Then, you decided to click on the "about" button and you wound up here.  So, what is all of this about? 

Well, we're a young adult group (ages 18-30) from Abundant Life Church in Blaine, Minnesota.  We exist to connect young adults with other people.  "The Third Place" is a term that was originally used to talk about the third place in your life that you feel like you belong.  The first place is your home, the second place is your work, and the third place could be a coffee shop, club, bar, movie theater, zoo, gun range, skate park, or any other place you enjoy being.

There are three goals that we also try to fulfill in our group.  The first is one that we already mentioned.  It's connecting.  We want to connect people with God, friends, and family.  There are a number of ways that we try to do that.  If you'd like to find out more, just click on the "connect" link on the left side of this page.

The second goal we have is that we all "grow" together.  We try to create a holistic environment where people can learn and grow in all areas of their lives.  That means we want to grow in our careers, relationships, spiritual lives, and every other way we can.

The third thing we want to strive towards is fulfilling the Great Commission that Jesus gave us to "go".  This may mean that we serve our church by helping out with Children's Ministry.  It may mean that we help out at a soup kitchen on the weekends.  It also may mean that we go on a missions trip to the other side of the world.  Any way we can, we want to go.
